IS PLAYER STATS /MATCH-UP REALLY IMPORTANCE :- Their is 2 types of people one think stats, player battle is very important and other one even not thinks  about it's 


But for me sometimes it's work and sometimes not for me pitch report is more important than these stats 


:-How is pitch report is more important than stats:- 

if you find X player stats weak against any spinner bowler and you drop him from your team but pitch is batting friendly than may be this not work but if pitch is turning than this match up successfully rate is high same when any player stats is weak against pace bowler this match up also success when pitch is supporting fast bowling so must check pitch report if that's support your match up than take decision on that's player 


:-How many pitches in cricket:-


Batting Pitch :- these pitch clearly support batter any hit/miss type batter can score big on these Pitches. On these type pitches try to cover all batters and in bowling section quality spinner and specially try to cover death Bowlers over to opening bowlers bcz death bowlers most time wckts on any pitch in First innings surely and in 2nd innings if match go close 


Balance Pitch :- These pitch have something for everyone. Movement in initial overs than batter also enjoy and spinner also get some purchase. On these Pitches try quality players and avoid hit/miss type player 6-7/10 times they will flop on these Pitches(check bowling line-ups if it's weak than may not work )


Bowling Pitches:- These are 2 types wickets one is pace bowling favour and 2nd is spinner bowler favourable


Pace bowling favour:- most wickets falls in starting on these Pitches so don't try any hit/miss players who bat in top order (also check bowling line-ups if it's weak than may not work) and also drop if any batter is struggling against pace bowler


Spin bowling favour:- most wickets are taken by spinner and pace bowler who use variations very well. You can drop hit/miss type players on these wickets too. And also drop any players if he is struggling against spin bowler

Best way is watch it live on tv/mobile on toss time specially focus on visuals not what's they say
